Within the ceramic sanitaryware production process the drying of the piece assumes a fundamental importance in obtaining high quality levels. The careful control aimed at obtaining a fast and homogeneous drying is one of the main characteristics of our products. Whitech designs and manufactures continuous and static driers.

HUMIDIFICATION

The humidification system is specifically designed to keep the moisture generated by the evaporation of water from the pieces during the first phase of the drying cycle inside the drying chamber.

Once the pieces have reached the temperature and passed the critical point of the drying, the humidification system is excluded and as a consequence the drying speed increases in order to reach rapid cycles.

This drying process not only guarantees a “safe” environment for sanitary drying, but also allows for highly efficient drying cycles.

AIR RECIRCULATION SYSTEM

High pressure fans are mounted on the roof of the dryer and allow recirculation of the intake air from inside the dryer and its internal distribution through the rotating cones.

This system allows to obtain a high turbulence and guarantees a homogeneous distribution of the air on the pieces to be dried.

CONTROL SYSTEM

The automatic control panel can be placed on board the dryer or in a remote location within an air-conditioned office.

The PLC can be mounted on a panel or desktop with a touch screen function.

The SCADA software provides:

• Main screen
• Parameterization screens for temperature and humidity curves
• Start and stop of automatic chiller with alarms
