The modeling made using traditional techniques does not in fact guarantee the necessary precision required by the press-on technology.
The symmetry of the models, the constancy of the required thicknesses and the joining areas of more thickness require an accurate check before the realization of the model, verification that can only be realized at the table collecting different professional figures around a virtual model that can be rotated, sectioned and modified in real time.
For several years now, WHITECH has developed and consolidated this technique for the realization of models and equipment for the construction of resin molds for press-casting, and which today constitutes an element of indisputable technical and productive competitiveness.
MICRO-POROUS RESIN MOLDS
WHITECH designs and manufactures the micro-porous resin molds that equip all the press-blow units.
On the basis of the technical drawing of the mold and once all the equipment necessary for its completion has been completed, the porous resin which forms the mold is poured into the die.
Once all the parts that make up the mold are made, they are assembled so as to realize the subsequent heat treatment and mechanical processing of the external surfaces.
Before the mold is shipped, all the necessary checks are carried out to certify the correct functionality of the mold: in a specially equipped laboratory, analysis of porosity and flow for each mold part is carried out as well as functional checks.
